Pie the Ghost

In the year 1100 BC, a scientist named Billy Bob Joe made a constellation. It was called “Pie The Ghost”. It represented a ghost who came to Earth and ate all the pie. People feared him greatly. One day the constellation really came to life. It stole almost all of the pie on Earth. But, one boy had a piece of pie and announced, “If you leave us alone and let me keep my last piece of pie we will give you an offering of pie each year for the rest of eternity.” Pie the Ghost agreed. From that day forward people give pie to Pie the Ghost so he won’t steal all the pie on Earth.

Then one day the pie was running late so Pie came down to Earth to investigate. He went to the boy who had struck the deal with him. The boy said that they were running late and there was nothing to worry about. The boy said they could talk until the pie was done. Pie told the boy his real story and that how he was not made up. He told the boy that he was flying around one day in the woods and saw a man eating something. The man said it was pie. He tried it and loved it and asked the man for it. The man said yes, but Pie would have to do something in return.

Years went by and he still had not returned the favor. It turned out that the old man was a wizard. The wizard banished Pie me to the Universe and all he could do was watch humans eat pie.

Then one day Pie broke free of the Universe and came back to Earth. Pie met the old man and said he was sorry. But, the old man was cruel and evil. He said he didn’t care. They fought for days, but Pie was finally able to overcome him. But, right before Pie could deliver the final blow the wizard said a spell that killed him but turned Pie into a monster that wanted pie. Pie roamed the Earth for centuries looking for pie. Then he stumbled upon the boy’s village and they struck a deal. That is his life’s story.

When Pie was done talking the boy said he would be right back. When he returned he had all of the pies for the offering. Pie said he was very grateful. He said he would never harm their village again. And till this day Pie the Ghost visits the village and they all have a huge feast.

Pie had forgotten to tell the boy what the old man looked like. He had brown hair, blue eyes and wore a cloak. The boy was also wearing a cloak and announced, “This is how I look.” The boy looked exactly like the old man. The boy yelled, “I am the old man’s son.” Then Pie asked, “Then why have you been so kind to me?” He told Pie how he was very sorry for what his father did. Pie looked tough and mean before, but then the boy lifted the curse and Pie became himself again. They had a trust that went on for miles. Pie was as big as a skyscraper. The boy and Pie slurped up the remaining pie. Then Pie pieced together pie to make their trust bond.
